Juan Lopez was a Mexican drug dealer, spouse, and longtime friend of Jenni Rivera. His full name was Juan Manuel Lopez Pardo. He was born on March 17, 1972, and on July 14, 2009, he died. At 25, he married Jenni Rivera, and the pair welcomed their first daughter, Jenica. He was 28 years old when he had his second child with Jenni, a girl named Johnny.

After meeting in 1995 in a Los Angeles club where Jenni was performing for extra cash, Juan Lopez became Jenni's second husband in 1997. Her new spouse was jailed just weeks after they married on charges of bringing unauthorized immigrants across the border for a fee. While Juan was serving his six-month term, Jenni was assaulted and raped by a group of guys who pursued her car. The couple rekindle their marriage after Juan was released from prison. They have two children, and those are Jenicka, a daughter, and Juan Angel, commonly known as Johnny Angelo, a son.

Juan was convicted of distributing drugs a few years later, in 2007, and died two years later while serving his prison sentence from pneumonia complications.
